{"id":23771,"date":"2024-02-15T14:53:34","date_gmt":"2024-02-15T22:53:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/docs.extraview.com\/v24\/book\/admin-reports-3\/"},"modified":"2025-02-06T13:28:41","modified_gmt":"2025-02-06T21:28:41","slug":"admin-reports-3","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/docs.extraview.com\/v24\/extraview-24\/end-user-guide-1\/reporting-1\/report-types-1\/admin-reports-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Admin Reports for End Users"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Typically, only users with the Administration role are given access to these reports.\u00a0 For the current release there is only a single admin report, but in the future this list will be expanded.\u00a0 The key reason why these reports appear outside of the administration screens is in order to be able to use the Report Scheduler to provide an automated means to deliver the reports.\u00a0 Like all other reports, you should create the report, save it, then edit it to create a schedule.<\/p>\n<h3>User Sign On Log<\/h3>\n<p>The User Sign On log can also be accessed from the Administration utility of the same name.\u00a0 It is provided as a true report, in order that users may use the report scheduler to run and automatically distribute the report.\u00a0 When the user clicks on the report entry to create a <strong>New Admin Report<\/strong>, the following report editor screen appears:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 90%;\" src=\"\/extraview-media\/images\/ug\/querying_reporting\/admin-report-editor-user-sign-on.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Usage is straightforward.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The report type is <strong>User Sign On Log<\/strong>.\u00a0 You may select the sort order of the output with the <strong>Sort Column<\/strong> option<\/li>\n<li>The report may be output to the browser, text, Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF<\/li>\n<li>You may schedule the report through the <strong>Schedule Report<\/strong> button, once the report has been saved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you do not select any filters, the entire user sign on log will be produced.\u00a0 You may select a subset of the log using the filters provided.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can use <strong>$$SYSDATE$$<\/strong> and <strong>$$SYSDAY$$<\/strong>\u00a0tokens in the <strong>Start Date<\/strong> and <strong>End Date<\/strong> fields.\u00a0 You can also specify simple arithmetic.\u00a0 For example, set the <strong>Start Date<\/strong> to<strong>$$SYSDATE$$-30<\/strong><strong>-30 <\/strong>and the <strong>End Date <\/strong>to <strong>$$SYSDATE$$<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>to obtain the log for the last 30 days<\/li>\n<li>Both the <strong>Concurrent Users<\/strong> and <strong>Guest Users<\/strong> columns have the ability to filter using greater than and less than math.\u00a0 For example, enter <strong>&gt;10<\/strong> in the <strong>Concurrent<\/strong> <strong>Users <\/strong>column to see a log of all the times when more than 10 concurrent users were signed on<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The output from the log will be similar to the following:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 90%;\" src=\"\/extraview-media\/images\/ug\/querying_reporting\/admin-report-user-sign-on.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Typically, only users with the Administration role are given access to these reports.\u00a0 For the current release there is only a single admin report, but in the future this list will be expanded.\u00a0 The key reason why these reports appear outside of the administration screens is in order to be able to use the Report&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":23770,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"no","_lmt_disable":"","_kad_blocks_custom_css":"","_kad_blocks_head_custom_js":"","_kad_blocks_body_custom_js":"","_kad_blocks_footer_custom_js":"","_kad_post_transparent":"","_kad_post_title":"","_kad_post_layout":"","_kad_post_sidebar_id":"","_kad_post_content_style":"","_kad_post_vertical_padding":"","_kad_post_feature":"","_kad_post_feature_position":"","_kad_post_header":false,"_kad_post_footer":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-23771","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.1 -
