{"id":24375,"date":"2024-02-15T14:53:34","date_gmt":"2024-02-15T22:53:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/docs.extraview.com\/v25\/book\/download-extraview-software-1\/"},"modified":"2025-02-17T12:55:24","modified_gmt":"2025-02-17T20:55:24","slug":"download-extraview-software-1","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/docs.extraview.com\/v25\/extraview-25\/installation-upgrade-guide-1\/software-installation-upgrades-1\/download-extraview-software-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Download the ExtraView Software"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Before beginning the installation \/ upgrade process, please ensure that you have downloaded the appropriate files from ExtraView Corporation\u2019s web site by clicking <a href=\"\/\/website.extraview.com\/site\/content\/extraview-download-upgrades\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>\n\tUpgrades<\/h3>\n<p class=\"required\">Note that if you do not have a current valid support agreement for your ExtraView software, you will not be able to successfully upgrade your installation with the downloaded files and you will need to revert to a backup of your installation.<\/p>\n<p>If you are currently running ExtraView 6.2 or above, check the bottom of the login page to see if your system is currently unsupported &#8211; if it is, you will need to contact ExtraView Support to get a new license key before beginning your upgrade.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/v25\/extraview-media\/images\/upg\/license.png\" width=\"90%\" \/><br \/>\n\tAt a minimum, you should download the ExtraView Software Upgrade. You may also want to take advantage of the Command Line Interface and other ExtraView supplied utilities. Matching versions of these utilities are available at the same URL location. If your system installation includes the Command Line Interface, the Perforce Integration Daemon, Salesforce Integration Daemon or ExtraView Web Services, you will need to update all of these optional modules as well &#8211; they should always be the same version as the ExtraView application. For your convenience, ExtraView Corporation provides links to the referenced versions of Apache Tomcat, Java and Perl on our website. Click <a href=\"\/\/website.extraview.com\/site\/content\/support-software\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> to access the support software.<\/p>\n<p>This guide covers upgrading with several common combinations of support software.
