In between sessions, ExtraView automatically remembers the filter values on advanced search screens. This is a time-saving device, as a user often wants to return to where they left off when returning to ExtraView. Further, it is only a single-click operation to clear the filters. However, there is one item to recognize with this, in that the administrator may alter the metadata supporting the filters, or may even remove access to a field for a user. To support this, all remembered filter values will be removed if the administrator alters metadata such as a search layout.
