With ExtraView version 5.0.2, a few subtle changes were made in the way that the children in allowed value relationships were presented to the user with some boundary conditions, such as when the parent value is null and is not null. The recommendation is to always set the behavior setting named AV_NULL_PARENT_IS_NONE to a value of YES for new applications. However a few customers relied on the earlier behavior for their workflow, so this behavior setting can be given a value of NO to retain the earlier behavior.
